What can be engraved?

Engraving is a meticulous process of carving or incising designs into a surface, typically metal, wood, glass, or other materials. The result is a permanent, detailed impression that adds exquisite personalized touches to objects.

Calligraphy

Pointed pen calligraphy is a style of writing where a flexible, pointed nib is used to create elegant, flowing letters. The pointed nib allows for varied line thicknesses by changing the pressure applied. The beauty of pointed pen calligraphy lies in its ability to produce ornate and expressive lettering with a unique, personalized touch. On surfaces that are not conducive to pointed pen calligraphy, I am able to use markers and pens to achieve the same aesthetic.

Heat Tools

Using hot tools is another great lettering medium. Foil stamping or foil printing, uses heat and pressure to transfer foil to a surface. It adds a high-quality finish to pieces and is incredibly durable. Pyrography, or burning, is a technique that looks incredible on wooden surfaces. I can also use heat to emboss items, such as wallets, belts, and luggage tags.
